“I know a delay is frustrating but that time is going into making the best game we can.”
Suicide Squad kill the justice league has officially been delayed to spring 2023, Confirming previous reports.
Creative director Sefton Hills tweeted to confirm what we’ve already heard. “I know a delay is frustrating,” Hill wrote, “but that time is going into making the best game we can. I look forward to bringing the chaos to Metropolis together. Thanks for your patience.”
The official announcement follows reports that the game was set to be delayed. Warner Bros. may have tipped its hand, as well, when WarnerMedia’s chief executive officer Jason Kilar tweeted about its upcoming slate of 2022 games. At that time Suicide Squad was totally absent.
Suicide Squad stars four playable antiheroes as part of the eponymous government black-ops task force. Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, King Shark, and Deadshot. They’re forced to take on the superpowered heroes of the Justice League when a scheme from the alien villain Brainiac corrupts them in some way.
The game was originally inspired by the Movie Named Suicide Squad. Moreover, It had previously been set for the 2022 window, without a specific release date.
The delay will mean that the Suicide Squad game will likely arrive almost eight years after Rocksteady’s last major console game, Batman: Arkham Knight. And seven after its last game overall, Batman: Arkham VR.
After years of rumors and leaks, Rocksteady announced that they are going to release the Suicide squad kill the justice league in 2022. Set in the Arkham Game Universe, will be an open-world co-op game allowing up to 4 players to play. Moreover, The characters were my favorite.
