GTA 5 update: The new generation version of GTA 5 and GTA online are coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on March 15.
But you can preload the game right now if you preorder digitally through either the PlayStation console or Microsoft store.
Those on PS 5 will be able to get GTA 5 + GTA online for $9.99 for the first three month after its release. But for those on Xbox it will cost $19.99.
There are no free upgrades available and game will will revert to cost $39 after three month on June 15.

How to upgrade and preload GTA 5 on Next-gen consoles
Technically, there isn’t an upgrade path for GTA 5 on new-gen consoles, such as the PS5 or Xbox Series X. If you’re on PS5 it currently costs $10, while those on Xbox will be paying $20 instead.
You can digitally preorder the new version right now on Microsoft or PlayStation store if you want to play. You can then preload the game on your console, so you are all set for yet another GTA 5 launch day.
Once you’ve purchased the game, your console should give you a prompt to download it. But you can’t play the update just yet, as this will be officially available on March 15.
